Is He simply Lord in title, or do you genuinely submit to Him?
Often our interactions with God revolve around needs thus, money, cars, jobs – but shouldn’t we revere Him as the Master of our lives?
Imagine a friend who only approaches you for favors, then disappears.
Such one-sided relationships exhaust us.
Similarly, with Jesus Christ as Lord, true intimacy requires submission and obedience, aligning our lives with His will.
We deceive ourselves if we claim Him as Lord but act contrary to His teachings.
James 1:22 says “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”.
This principle extends to human relationships.
True intimacy involves respecting, considering, and loving others.
